In addition, the lack of police security and the high number of inoperative traffic cameras on the streets of the island have encouraged vandalism, something that has claimed the lives of part of the fleet of blue electric companies in recent months. It is clear that the streets of Tenerife have become a hostile environment for ventures and innovations in the transport sector.

For many, this situation means that the private entity cannot continue to carry out its activity freely, however, at the end of the day, the real people affected are the citizens. As a result of these barriers imposed by the lack of public administration, the mobilization options of the people of Tenerife fall only on the most traditional and polluting public transport. With this decision, Tenerife it is further and further away from electric mobility and its own development with a view to a 100% electric future. It is worth mentioning that the service is still active in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

love sharing was born in 2019 with the aim of bringing the canaries a new form of mobility that was fast, safe, economical and shared but above all 100% sustainable. This is how the ambitious bet placed the islands at the level of the main European capitals with a fleet of electric motorcycles that made it possible to save CO2 and reduce noise pollution in cities.

These years of activity and success for the service gave rise to more than 550,000 trips Hand in hand with 36,000 users and traveling 1,500,000 km, four times the distance between the Earth and the Moon. Thanks to these journeys, love sharing and users on the island of Tenerife saved 153,749 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere. A complete feat.

These numbers show the good reception that love sharing received from users. Now, the company says goodbye to Tenerife, although not without thanking the users for the trust they have placed in the service. The company has already communicated the news to its users so that they can use their bonuses before closing on December 31, 2022.
