Sony-Honda joint venture releases pre-CES concept car teaser video

Yasuhide Mizuno, CEO of Sony Honda Mobility, commented that the company’s goal is to create a โ€œhigh added value productยป characterized by three principles: Autonomy, Increase and Affinity.

Although there are details to be confirmed, the company promised Level 3 autonomous driving. It has also suggested the use of subscription services to add value to the car. The as-yet-unnamed vehicle could receive non-automotive Sony technology, such as the PS5.

For now, Honda makes its production experience available, as well as its engineering and after-sales support, an aspect that has truncated the electrification process in other companies.
