The Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato goes for a ride

A week after unveiling what will be its latest pure internal combustion model, Lamborghini has gone out for a ride with the Huracán Sterrato. The engineers crossed the borders of Sant’Agata Bolognese to carry out a series of driving tests: considering the style of the Italians, it was difficult for this off-road-inspired model to go unnoticed. Beyond being able to contemplate the aesthetic details, the key was to listen to him… and it seems that it sounds like V10.

The first to capture the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato in motion has been Varryx. On his YouTube channel we can see a brief recording of less than a minute (the same one that accompanies these lines), starring a unit with production specifications leaving the headquarters from Lamborghini. So far, these are the best images of the model that will end the Lamborghini Huracán saga.

The bodywork, in detail

And it is that Lamborghini has shown carefully prepared images, in which the Huracán Sterrato appeared surrounded by fog, to maintain some intrigue until its presentation: it will be on the 30th of this month. The first model that has been seen in action sports a tricolor bodywork: olive green, black and orange. In it it is possible to differentiate all the aesthetic changes beyond that generous ground clearance, similar to that of an SUV.

Varryx video allows See up close all those aesthetic details characteristic of the aggressive body kit inspired by SUVs. At the front, the additional LED lights on the hood, the redesigned bumper or the protections on the lower part draw attention. In profile, the spotlights focus on the air intake and the roof bars without forgetting the wheel arches. And in the rear there are elements that do not go unnoticed such as the small wing.

A V10?

The Italian brand has not yet revealed what mechanics there will be under this off-road aspect of the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, but the bets assume that it will be the well-known atmospheric V10 of 5.2 liters. Whether it will use the base version, which makes 602bhp, or borrow that from the Lamborghini Huracán STO, which makes 631bhp, remains to be seen. The logical thing, in addition, is that it is associated with a seven-speed double clutch and a four-wheel drive system.

The video does not help to clear up the great doubt because driving the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato is quite normal and monotonous: the unexceptional nature of his maneuvers do not allow us to listen to his soundtrack in full, although it seems that it sounds like V10. We will know in a week and a half.
