The Lexus UX 2023 updated will arrive Europe and will bring improved technological features, better refinement and more, however the most notable change is happening in the UX300e electric.

As previously announced, the 100% electric crossover will benefit from a new battery pack which increases the driving range by more than 40%. Drivers will now be able to travel up to 450km (280 miles) between charges if equipped with 17″ wheels, based on WLTP test cycle. Whereas when fitted with 18-inch wheels the driving range is reduced to 440 km (273 miles) WLTP.

The new battery pack provides a 72.8 kWh capacity, instead of the 54.3 kWh of the previous package. For its part, the electric motor remains unchanged and generates 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque.

The new model will benefit from slight changes to the bodywork and chassis, according to lexusto enhance the driving experience and refinement of the UX300e. Things like the power steering and dampers have been retuned, while the bodywork now sports additional spot welds for added rigidity. This provided a sharper driving experience.

All three UX models (UX 300e, UX 250h and UX 200) also benefit from interior enhancements.

The biggest change buyers will notice are the larger touch screens 8 and 12 inches. In addition, they will have a faster and easier to use interface, and offer more connectivity options, including Apple Car Play wireless and Android Auto With cable. It will also have a cloud-based navigation system.

New upholstery options also freshen up the appeal of the interior. Meanwhile, new exterior colors and two-tone paint options will add an attractive touch to the exterior of the UX 250h and UX 200.

The F-grade Sport Design also joins the range for the first time and adds sportier design touches such as an L-motif mesh pattern for the front grille, black wheel arch moldings, F Sport rear bumper, roof spoiler, wheels 18-inch F Sport in Dark Metallic finish, and more.

The grade F Sport previously available is enhanced with the addition of a Adaptive Variable Suspension specially tuned as standard and a more precise steering feel. This thanks to a new rigid joint placed between the top of the steering box mount and the front suspension member.

Motor train and arrival in Europe

The Lexus UX200 2023 will be offered in select European markets and is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that provides 169 hp (126 kW/171 PS). Meanwhile, the UX 250h sports an almost identical in-line four-cylinder engine, but combined with two electric motors giving a combined power of 181 hp (135kW/184PS).

The UX It is the best-selling Lexus vehicle in the Old Continent. Sales of the crossover are up 25% from 2021, with the brand attributing much of that success to hybrid and electric models.

Updates to the UX 250h and UX 200 started production a few months ago, while the UX300e upgraded will be available from the second quarter of 2023.
