2018 Toyota Corolla
One of Toyota models with a long history in the market has definitely been the Corolla. Namely, the popular hatchback is about to appear with some minor changes and refreshments as a 2018 Toyota Corolla model. According to the information I found, the fans shouldn’t expect a completely redesigned Corolla before 2020.
As we have already mentioned, the fans shouldn’t expect that the 2018 Toyota Corolla will show any revolutionary design features. Instead, it will keep its recognizable four-door hatchback styling, but its body will definitely seem curvier and more aggressive. The Corolla rides on the well-known TNGA platform shared with models such as Camry and CH-R. This probably won’t change for the 2018 model, but it could happen in two years or so when we see the whole new generation of this car. When it comes to appearance, the upcoming Corolla has also been largely compared to one of its greatest competitors – the Civic. However, some distinctive differences will be noticed, of course. The new Corolla is expected to get sportier and more menacing styling, especially in the front fascia. Besides its slightly refreshed grille and massive bumper, the fans will also notice its slim headlamps with LED daytime running lights.
Little has been known about the interior of the 2018 Toyota Corolla, but a rumor has it that we should expect something similar to the Toyota Camry. If the interior of these two models is really similar, then we know what to expect inside the cabin of the new Corolla. The carmaker will probably upgrade its materials, high-tech features and safety. The driver should expect a smaller information display in the instrument cluster and a larger touch-screen in the center console with the infotainment system and options such as navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, USB ports, climate control and others. Still, features such as Apple Car Play and Android Auto won’t be available. Besides technology and overall comfort, the new Toyota Corolla should enhance its safety systems and driver assist features that come as standard. Some of them include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and auto high beams.
