2018 Toyota Tundra
The market of full-size pickup trucks just keeps on surprising the off-road enthusiasts. Another redesigned iconic truck is coming soon as a 2018 model and it will show some serious improvements in terms of design, safety and power, but not fuel-efficiency. The new 2018 Toyota Tundra is definitely built for both – work and adventure.
The appearance of the 2018 Toyota Tundra won’t change drastically and you shouldn’t expect any innovations in terms of exterior design. Instead, the new Tundra will get some refined and upgraded features that will seem more modern and eye-catching than the ones of the previous model. This Toyota truck is still going to hit the market as a full-size pickup that will be available in several trims – SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 edition, TRD Pro, and TRD Sport. The exterior features and overall equipment will understandably depend on the trim level you choose. The SR trim will be more work-oriented and offer some basic features. It will stand on steel wheels, probably 18-inch ones, while the TRD trims are expected to wear 20-inch black alloy wheels. All models will show a redesigned front end with a new grille, massive bumper, and reworked headlights. They will also improve its suspension systems and increase towing capacity.
Those large dimensions of the 2018 Toyota Tundra will definitely allow this model to provide a spacious, comfortable and functional cabin. The upscale and luxurious features will definitely be found in higher trim levels so the driver can expect a power-adjustable driver’s seat as well as high-quality materials such as leather, aluminum, and wood. The manufacturer will also upgrade its high-tech area and put a 7.0-inch touch-screen in the center console. The latest infotainment and entertainment system will enable options such as satellite navigation, climate control, sound system, USB ports and Bluetooth connectivity. We have already mentioned that the new Tundra will also show some serious improvements when it comes to its standard safety features. Some of them will include adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and others.
