Tesla’s price cuts on its cars have forced the electric market to make a move and Ford has just responded with a price cut for the Mustang Mach-E. Thus, Ford’s electric SUV is now 11,616 euros cheaperwhich makes the Mustang Mach-E much more competitive against rivals like the Tesla Model Y, the Volkswagen ID.4 or the Skoda Enyaq, but also that the Mustang Mach-e will once again benefit from the aid of the MOVES plan.
Despite the initial reluctance of some manufacturers, Tesla’s movement by lowering the prices of its electric vehicles is finding a response. Ford Spain has reviewed the entire range of the Mustan Mach-E, however, the biggest cut is found in the access variant, discovering that the Mustang Mach-E RWD has gone from costing 64,688 euros to 53,072 euros.
But not only that, since thanks to this reduction of 11,616 euros in the starting price, the Mustang Mach-E RWD is also once again eligible for MOVES plan aid. If you opt for purchase aid, the final price of the Mustang Mach-E would be 46,072 euros. The rest of the Ford electric SUV range would continue to be left out of the MOVES plan, since the price reduction has been much less pronounced (3,025 euros) and therefore the sale prices are above the limit of 45,000 euros plus VAT. required by the aid plan.
Ford’s movement makes the Mach-E gain again a lot of appeal in its category, an interest that had lost with the continuous rise in prices that the model has experienced since its launch. The most affordable version, which is the one we are analyzing, is the Mach-E RWD, a configuration equipped with a 269 hp electric motor79 kWh battery and autonomy of 440 km. We are talking about a specification that remarkably meets performance, but also has a very complete equipment where we find LED headlights, 18″ wheels, 10.5″ digital panel, 15″ multimedia system, dual-zone climate control, 360º camera, front and rear parking sensors, heated front seats, active cruise control with Stop&Go function, alert cross traffic, sign recognition, etc.
At its current price, the Ford Mustang Mach-E RWD for 53,072 euros is placed in a more favorable position to face the Tesla Model Ywhose price starts at 47,970 euros (299 CV and 455 km of autonomy); VW ID.4whose price starts at 50,850 euros (174 CV and 526 km of autonomy) and skoda enyaqwhere its most affordable version is priced at 52,900 euros (204 CV and 544 km of autonomy).
